Jenivee K. Smith

                 Jenivee K. Smith, 74, of Spencer, died at 7:40 a.m., Sunday, June 24, 2012, in the Miletree Center, Spencer.

                She was born January 31, 1938, at Newton, a daughter of the late Harley and Zona Chapman Keaton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Smith; two brothers, Virgil and Bobby; and one sister, Vada.

                Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.  She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, bingo and dominoes.

                Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Varner of Newton; three grandchildren, Leigh Ann, Nathan and Edward; one great grandchild, Katie; five sisters, Velora, Mary, Orva, Virginia and Judy; two brothers, Paul and Vandale.

                A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Keaton Cemetery near Amma.  There will be no visitation.
