Brenda McKown,
47, of Arnoldsburg, died at 2:11 p.m., Wednesday, December 3,
2003, in the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, OH, after an
extended illness.
She was born
April 15, 1956, in Roane County, a daughter of the late Charles
and Jessie Ward Arthur. Mrs. McKown was a homemaker and a
member of the Church of the Living God, Spencer.
Survivors include
her husband, Pastor Clarence E. McKown of Arnoldsburg; two
stepdaughters,
Rebecca Armentrout of Fairplain and Emily Kerby of Arnoldsburg;
sister, Linda Conley of Spencer; brother, Douglas Arthur of
Spencer.
In addition to
her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rev.
William Arthur.
A funeral service
will be conducted, Monday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the John
H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Harvey "Buck"
Greathouse officiating. Burial will be in the Sandridge
Cemetery, Sandridge, Calhoun County.
Friends may call
at the funeral home from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday.
