Faye T. Elmore, 86, of Parkersburg, died at 2:45 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2003, in the St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.

She was born November 17, 1917, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Ernest Ray and Anna Hicks Harold.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Otmer Elmore; two great grandchildren, Ashley Elmore and Stacey Shaffer

Mrs. Elmore was a retired motel owner and operator in the Orlando, FL area.  She was also a charter member of the Linden Chapter No. 152, Order of the Eastern Star, Linden and a member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church. 

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Drake of Rockport; a son, Ray Elmore of Tariff; asister, Susie Boggs of Cocoa, FL; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Robert A. "Bob" Keen officiating.  Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service.
