Forrest
Rogers, 73, of Spencer, died at 5:51 p.m., Saturday,
December 6, 2003, in the
CAMC-Memorial
Hospital, Charleston, after a short illness.
He was born
January 22, 1930, at Newton, a son of the late J. Clark and
Orva Hicks
Rogers. Mr.
Rogers was a former employee of the W.Va. Dept. of Highways
and the Monarch Rubber Shop, Spencer.
Survivors
include his wife, Nora Mullins Rogers of Spencer; four sons
and
daughters-in-law, James and Lana Rogers, Jerry and Peggy
Rogers, Tracy and Amy Rogers, Billy and April Rogers all of
Spencer; brother, William Gail Rogers of Massillon, OH; one
sister, Lewanda Hickel of Dundalk, MD; 15 grandchildren.
In addition
to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother,
Hersey Rogers and
one infant
brother.
A funeral
service will be conducted Wednesday, December 10 at 2:00
p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the
Rev. Homer Hensley officiating. Burial will be in the
Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Friends may
call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December
9.
