Georgidean Fear, 76, of Spencer, died Saturday, May 21, 2005, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.

She was born September 24, 1928, in Charlestown, OH, the daughter of the late Dean Michael and Bessie Myrtle Sanford Richards.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Glenn Fear; a daughter, Peggy Evans; a granddaughter, Amanda Bjornsson; two brothers, John and Raymond Richards.

Mrs. Fear was a homemaker and a Baptist.  She and her husband were farmers  in the  Freedom Township area of Ohio for many years prior to moving to Reedy.  She enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

Survivors include two daughters, Laura Justice of Reedy and Becky Mincey of Spencer; two sons, Steve Fear of Mantua, OH and Todd Fear of Ravenna, OH; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren

Service and burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Roane County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 84, Spencer, WV 25276.
