Robert L. “Jack” Owens, 59, of Spencer, died Saturday, December 22, 2007, in CAMC – Memorial Division, Charleston.             .

He was born August 27, 1948, in North Carolina, a son of the late Dan L. and Virginia G. Adams Owens. 

Survivors include his wife, Lola L. Owens; daughter, Gloria E. Turner of Spencer,  stepdaughters, Shirley J. Matz of Summerfield, FL, and Nancy E. Wise of Oswego, NY; stepsons, Ronald C. Bias and Thomas E. Bias, both of Spencer.; sister, Mary Sue Lovejoy of Powelton; and brother, James D. Owens of Anthony, FL.

Service will be Saturday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer.  Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service.
